It's always nice to receive a email or text from a happy Bride thanking you for making them look and feel beautiful on their big day. Although its not often I get the chance to blog about it!
Freccia got married in April and sent me an email this week to thank me, accompanied by some of her beautiful images taken by the awesome Bandele Zuberi.
Freccia got ready at the St Michaels Manor Hotel, St Albans, a gorgeous boutique hotel with elegant decadent furniture and super friendly welcoming staff. The rooms are just stunning and although I didn't eat in the restaurant, I will definitely return for an evening out as the menu and ambience looked amazing!

"I just wanted to thank you for doing a great job with my make up on my special day. It was a joy working with you. Thanks for multitasking and getting me dressed too! My Mum was loving your work, you did a beautiful job with her make up, thanks to you!"

Pronovias Dress...Can we talk please?! Loveeeeee!!
Freccia's Bridal Makeup look was a classic natural smokey eye with nude lips. We matched the theme of her spring wedding perfectly.
The skin was perfected with Matchmaster Foundation in colour 8.5 and set with Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark Deep. Cheeks were contoured with Matchmaster in 10.0 and cheekbones and under eyebrows were highlighted with Studio Finish Concealer in NW35 and set with Pigment in Naked which is the most dreamiest ethereal shimmer and catches the light for a subtle yet smooth highlight.
We added Blusher in Desert Rose and Love Joy to warm up the cheeks and to give the face some extra dimension.
Double chin alert!! I'm never laughing again o_o
The eyes have it!!
Paint Pot in Painterly was used as a base to smooth the eyelid and create a neutral surface.
The socket was contoured with eye shadow Embark and deepened with Shadowy Lady.
Sable was used on the centre of the eyelid to brighten the eye. Liquid Liner in Boot Black was used on the top and Technakohl Liner in Graphblack. Fluttery lashes by Ardell in 105 completed the look.
Lip Pencil in Chestnut defined the lips and Lipstick in Warm Me Up gave Freccia lips ready to be kissed (!!) Her groom Travis is a lucky man :-)
So pretty!!
As a side note the wedding was coordinated to perfection on the day by Luxury Wedding Planner Nicole Adeyale from Perfect Events. I have had the pleasure of working with Nicole on a fair few weddings now and she is soooooo lovely! Extremely professional, super organised and always smiling. Every wedding that I have worked on that Perfect Events have coordinated has been flawlessly executed. From start to finish Nicole has always got it covered!
Wishing Travis and Freccia Benn all the happiness in the world!!
